FSN Ohio Personality to be On Air Voice of the Storm

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (August 25, 2008) - Kendall Lewis, known to fans as “The Big Sports Kahuna” or “The BSK” has signed on to become the on air voice of the Lake Erie College Storm football team for the 2008 inaugural varsity season. Lewis, who currently hosts the “The MAC Scoreboard” show on Fox Sports Net (FSN) Ohio, is best known for his work on 850 WKNR radio. Other highlights of his career include his reporting on the Cleveland Browns with CBS-19/WOIO, as well as various hosting gigs with the ESPN RADIO network.

Lewis will provide the play-by-play for a minimum of eight football games to be broadcast on WELW 1330 AM and welw.com this season beginning with the team’s third game at Saint Joseph’s (Ind.) on Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. The games will air on a one-hour delay due to previously scheduled programming on the station.

Lewis is a Clevelander, having graduated from East High School where he played both football and baseball. He also attended Ohio University as a radio and television communications major. The 30-year broadcasting veteran currently resides in Euclid.
