PAINESVILLE, OHIO –  Third-ranked C.W. Post scored 13 seconds into Sunday's (April 18) contest and kept the pressure on throughout in a 22-1 East Coast Conference victory over the Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team in Brookville, N.Y.
The Storm (5-4, 1-2 ECC) trailed 4-0 before freshman Julia Kudla (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) on a free position shot 6:05 into the contest.
But after that, it was all C.W. Post (11-1, 4-0) as the Pioneers scored 18 unanswered goals.
Seven Pioneers scored multiple goals as C.W. Post outshot the Storm 48-3 and had a 31-8 edge in ground balls.
Lake Erie, which has dropped two straight, travels to Seton Hill University on Wednesday, April 21, for an ECC tilt at 7 p.m.
