Women's Lacrosse Earns Four All-GLIAC Honors

BAY CITY, Mich.—Four members of the Lake Erie College women's lacrosse earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors announced by the conference Thursday (May 5).

Breana Moser (Gahanna, Ohio/Gahanna) earned the top spot for the Storm, being named to the All-GLIAC First-Team as a defender.  Moser started in all 17 games for the Storm.  She tallied 32 groundballs, 35 draw controls and caused 22 turnovers.  Against Notre Dame College, she caused a season-high four turnovers.  She had three or more groundballs six times.  Offensively, she scored four goals, including a season-high two against the University of Findlay.

Anna Spin (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn), Anastasia Crawford (Corning, N.Y./Corning Painted Post East) and Emma Miller (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mentions.

Anna Spin, a freshman attackman, had a team-high 45 points on 26 goals and 19 assists.  She tallied 16 groundballs and 30 draw controls.  Spin had eight games in which she totaled three or more points.  She had seven point games against Notre Dame (five goals, two assists) and Urusline College (two goals, five assists).

Midfielder Anastasia Crawford led the Storm with 30 goals in addition to pair of assists.  She also grabbed 20 groundballs, 15 draw controls and caused 15 turnovers.  Crawford reached a season-high of four goals on four separate occasions.  Against Walsh University, Crawford totaled five points on four goals and one assist.

Emma Miller, a defender, played in all games 17 this season.  A shutdown defender, Miller totaled 24 groundballs, 17 draw controls and caused 15 turnovers. Against Walsh, Miller caused a season-high three rebounds and tied a season-high with three rebounds.
