Storm Looks to Extend Win Streak (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team will take the field twice this week before the Storm enters GLIAC play. Lake Erie will travel to take on the Wheeling Jesuit University Cardinals on Thursday (March 23) at 7:00 PM. The Storm will host the Alderson-Broaddus University Battlers on Sunday (March 26) at 12:00 PM.

Storm Report: The Storm are 3-0 to begin the season after a 19-1 victory over Davis & Elkins on Friday (March 17). Anastasia Crawford (Corning, N.Y. / Corning Painted Post East) led the Storm with four goals in the game as ten different players found the back of the net. Crawford leads the team with 11 goals scored this season.

Opposition Position: The Cardinals are 2-5 this season after a loss to the University of Indianapolis. Elizabeth Hales leads the Cardinals with 17 goals. The Battlers are 4-1 on the season. Jasmine Barham is the leading scorer with 16 goals.

Series History: The Storm have faced Wheeling Jesuit four times in the program's history. Lake Erie is 4-0 against Wheeling Jesuit, including a 14-13 win last season. The Storm has defeated the Battlers three straight times.

Storm Forecast: Lake Erie will travel to face Roberts Wesleyan on March 29th.
