(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) – Exactly a month from tomorrow the Lake Erie College athletic department will host its annual Storm Scramble golf outing at Little Mountain Country Club. This year's fundraiser will go towards improving and branding the Osborne Center's multi-purpose gym as well as more improvements to the Richie Athletic Training Center.
The event will start at 10 a.m. via shotgun start. Multiple contests will be held including a hole-in-one challenge, longest drive for men and women, longest putt, and closest to the pin. A raffle will also be held with multiple prize packs available.
The cost is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, dinner, and beverages upon completion of the round. Each foursome will receive a gift bag.
Additional sales of mulligans, grenades, red tee balls, 50/50, auction tickets, and skins game are also available. Those wanting to do a dinner-only option can also do so for $20.
Pre-registration is highly recommended. The event is capped at 36 teams. You can register online at lec.edu/stormscramble. Registration that day will begin at 8 a.m.
Hole sponsorships are available for $200 and includes signage at the event with company logo. Lunch sponsorships are available for $600 and will include recognition prior, during, and after the event. Storm sponsorships are available for $1,500 and includes a foursome, recognition throughout the day, and free admission to all regular season home Storm athletic events for the upcoming year.
