(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) – The official website of the Lake Erie Storm athletic department was relaunched on Monday in partnership with PrestoSports after a redesign process that was initiated over the summer. The redesign is the third in the history of the lakeeriestorm.com website which debuted in 2010.
The re-launch was made as a result of the growing sport sponsorship and increasing student-athlete population at Lake Erie College. It allows an enhanced experience and presence for fans, alumni, and family near and far to keep up to date with all things involving the Storm.
It was also a top priority of the Storm athletic department after Director of Athletics hired Logan Smith as the associate director of athletics for internal operations and administration last year. Smith had prior experience working with PrestoSports and was tasked with spearheading the operation.
The overall design is a simplified version and heavily features the Storm's Green and White team colors for branding. A new countdown clock to the next athletic event, social media wall, and photo galleries are also featured on the front page.
