Storm Returns Home to Host Ashland (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College baseball team returns home to face Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Ashland University in a doubleheader.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm split a four game series at Walsh University this past weekend.  The Storm fell 4-3 and 10-1 on day one before bouncing back with 2-1 and 5-0 wins on day two.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Brian Bullock was named GLIAC South Division Pitcher of the Week for his performance against Walsh.  The freshman pitched a complete seven-inning game, giving up just three hits without surrendering a run.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Eagles enter the game with a 21-7 overall record and a 10-2 mark in GLIAC play.  They are currently riding an eight game winning streak, having recently swept Ohio Dominican University and Tiffin University.

FORECAST: The Storm is back in action this weekend for a four-game series at Grand Valley State University.
