PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College baseball team will continue their season-opening road slate with a three game series on the road against Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. The Storm will play two games on Saturday (March 4) at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The Sunday (March 5) series finale will begin at 11:00 AM.
"This weekend will challenge our attention to detail, after a good showing against two top teams in UNCP and UMO our challenge is to bring the same mindset this week," said Storm head coach Cameron Castro. "From how we take Pre-Game and BP to how we attack the zone to how we take advantage of timely hitting situations. It's our last weekend series before we open up GLIAC play, but we can't look past Concord. They're a good hitting ball club and are going to bring their fair share of offense to the table. We just have to try and curb that with our running game and continue to compete with intent on the mound. If we do that it should a great series, regardless of outcome."
