Golden Eagles Up Next for Storm (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio-The Lake Erie College baseball team will travel to Clarion, Pennsylvania on Tuesday (May 2) afternoon for a non-conference matchup with the Clarion University Golden Eagles. The single nine inning game is set to begin at 4:00 PM.

Storm Report: Lake Erie is 10-34 overall and 3-25 in the GLIAC with four GLIAC games to go. The Storm dropped a four-game series with the Ashland Eagles over the weekend. Sam Browning had six hits in the series for the Storm.

Opposition Position: Clarion has an 11-30 overall record after losing four games to Seton Hill in their last series. Tyler Falk leads the Golden Eagles with a .364 batting average.

Series History: The Storm and the Golden Eagles have never faced off before. Tuesday will be the first matchup between the schools in baseball.

Storm Forecast: Lake Erie will host Hillsdale College for a four-game GLIAC series on Saturday (May 6) and Sunday (May 7).
