QUICK NOTES: Lake Erie will be playing its first GLIAC game, as the Storm became official members of the conference this summer... it is also LEC's home opener and first game on the recently installed ProGrass Mondoturf artificial surface... the Storm lost its opening week game at Gannon, 26-20, last Thursday night... Sean Bedevelsky threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns but the Storm committed four turnovers... Gus Armbruster had 12 tackles, including two sacks... Michigan Tech is playing its first game of the season... the Huskies slipped to 2-8 last season due to a rash of injuries, but return three 2008 All-GLIAC players to full health for the opener... prior to the game, Lake Erie will honor and recognize active and veteran area military members and offer free admission to active service men and women, veterans, police, fire and emergency rescue personnel with valid I.D.
