Storm Travels to Top-Ranked Grand Valley Saturday Night

QUICK NOTES: After a two-game home stand, Lake Erie travels to top-ranked Grand Valley State on Saturday night for a GLIAC tilt in Allendale, Mich... the Storm (0-6, 0-5 GLIAC) has outgained five of its first six opponents in total yardage this season, including a 498-315 edge last Saturday night against Wayne State. However, the Storm has been outscored 209-115 on the season and has a minus-14 turnover margin... the 28-16 loss to Wayne State was the Storm's seventh straight dating back to the 2009 season... despite the loss, junior QB Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick) completed 22-of-40 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns (one interception).  It was his fourth career 300-yard passing game... Lake Erie is 0-2 all-time against DII ranked teams, including a 42-37 loss at #8 Hillsdale three weeks ago... the undefeated Lakers (6-0, 5-0), have won 10 straight regular season games overall and 28 straight at home... the defending national runners-up defeated Northern Michigan 28-7 last week, limiting the Wildcats to just 94 total yards.  




UP NEXT: The Storm is on the road again next week, playing an opponent from Ohio for the first time, at the University of Findlay. Kickoff is set for noon on Saturday, Oct. 23.
