GAMEDAY CENTRAL: Storm Looks for Third Straight Win in Home Finale

QUICK NOTES: Lake Erie has won two straight, including a 30-15 win at home last week against Ohio Dominican... the Storm defense held Ohio Dominican to just 13 total yards, including 122 in the second half... on offense, Lake Erie went over 400 yards (419) for the fourth straight week... the Storm special teams blocked two kicks. Akeem Solomon blocked a Ryan Bren punt, picked up the ball and raced 25 yards for a touchdown that gave the Storm a 10-0 lead.  Then at the end of the first half, Kevin Chapman blocked a 48-yard field goal attempt by Chris Vortkamp that kept the score 10-6 in favor of LEC.  It was the second blocked kick of Chapman's career... Solomon's blocked punt return for a score was the second in LEC history. Dan Nebraski was the first to do it in the 2009 opener at Gannon... Cameron Bryant had a career-high 14 tackles (eight solo) and picked off his first career interception. He returned it 21 yards to set up a TD... Redshirt sophomore Onesiaum Glass ran for a career-high 106 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries while Kameron Alexander picked up 82 yards and a TD on 17 attempts as the Storm churned out a season-high 294 yards on the ground... junior quarterback Sean Bedevelsky became the school's all-time leading rusher, gaining 67 yards on 16 carries to raise his career total to 1,399 surpassing Tony Howard's 1,393 yards... Sam Marcotte kicked a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter. It was his eighth straight game with a field goal and was his sixth consecutive made field goal attempt... Chapman finished with nine tackles and had the first multiple sack game of his career... Desmond Reed's eight tackles were a career high, as were Cameron Whitner's seven... Saturday is Senior Day in Painesvile.  It is also part of Parents and Family Weekend on campus.
