QUICK NOTES: Lake Erie trailed 31-7 in the second half before attempting to mount a comeback at Ohio Dominican last Saturday, but ultimately came up short 38-30... the loss was the eighth straight for the Storm and dropped its record to 1-8 (0-8 GLIAC)... despite the loss, senior QB Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick) went 29-of-47 passing for 279 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, and ran for a season-high 92 yards and two more touchdowns.  His 371 total yards of offense pushed him past 10,000 for his career (10,139) and it was the 14th time in his career he both ran and threw for touchdowns in the same game... fifth-year WR Brandon James (Mentor) caught a game-high 11 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown. It was his second straight game with double-digit receptions and gave him 202 for his career. The touchdown grab was the 20th of his collegiate career... the Storm defeated Tiffin in last year's meeting 31-27 behind a school-record 214 rushing yards by current senior RB Kameron Alexander (Buchtel)... Tiffin has lost 19 straight dating back to last season. The Dragons (0-9, 0-8 GLIAC) lost at Northern Michigan last weekend, 59-3.








UP NEXT: The Storm plays its final game of the season next Saturday, Nov. 12, at home against Ashland Univeristy. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and the day will be Senior Day and Veterans Appreciation Day.
