PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Five former Lake Erie College football players will represent the North Team at the Ohio Army National Guard Senior Bowl III, Gameday Management, Inc. officials announced on Friday (March 2).
Quarterback Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick), receiver Brandon James (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor), offensive lineman Mike Gritz (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush), linebacker Kevin Chapman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) and offensive/defensive lineman Chaz Brown (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid) will suit up in the annual Buckeye State senior all-star game on Saturday, April 14 at Crew Stadium in Columbus.
The game showcases some of the best senior college football players from all 41 colleges and universities in Ohio. Lake Erie College has had at least one player selected to play in the game in each of the first two years. The North has a 2-0 lead in the contest, including a 19-16 win in 2011. In 2010, the Storm's Tony Howard scored the game's only touchdown in a 7-0 victory.
Tickets for the game, which will air regionally on SportsTime Ohio on a tape delay basis, are on sale at the Columbus Crew ticket office on online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the game.
