QUICK NOTES: Lake Erie looks to pick up its first win of the season, following the team's second last-minute loss of the season to Wayne State last Saturday.  The Storm led 31-13 in the fourth quarter, but the 19th-ranked Warriors rallied for a 35-31 win, scoring the winning points with 46 seconds to go… despite the loss, freshman RB Anthony Bilal (Painesville Riverside) had a career day, running 27 times for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his first collegiate start (and just second game).  He has run for 284 yards in his first two games, averaging 7.3 yards per attempt… redshirt freshman TE Anthony Kukwa (Perry/Ball State) caught a five-yard TD pass at Wayne State, his third in the last two games… sophomore DB Stacy Woodford (Dublin Coffman) picked off his third pass of the year, tied for second most in the country and tied for the most in a single season in LEC history… Saginaw Valley State won its first two games before dropping a 29-27 decision at home to Findlay last weekend.  The Oilers kicked a 25-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining to go ahead and a 54-yard attempt by the Cardinals at the gun was no good... the Cardinals also visited Britt Stadium last season, coming away with a 35-20 victory... this week's game is "Youth Football Night." Area youngsters wearing their youth team jersey will be admitted free of charge while their parents will receive half-off their admission.

UP NEXT: Lake Erie is on the road at Ashland University next Saturday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m.
