2012: Played in 10 games, starting nine at wide receiver during as a third-year sophomore... missed one game due to injury... caught 29 passes for a team-leading 512 yards with a pair of touchdown grabs... had multiple catches in eight games... hauled in a career-high nine catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in the overtime win at Walsh Oct. 27... had five catches for 68 yards an a score against Ohio Dominican Nov. 3... notched his first career 100-yard game with 108 yards on three catches at Tiffin Nov. 10... had two catches over 60 yards an another over 40... also rushed three times for five yards and returned 15 kickoffs for 298 yards with a long of 44... made three tackles, including one solo stop... finished the season with 815 all-purpose yards.
2011: Played in all 11 games, getting seven starting nods at wide receiver as a redshirt freshman... finished fourth on the team with 21 receptions for 211 yards and a touchdown... set career highs with seven catches for 84 yards, including a 32-yard scoring strike, at Ohio Dominican on 10/29/11... had three other games with at least three catches... also made three special teams tackles, including two solo stops... returned one kickoff for 20 yards against Grand Valley State on 10/15/11.
2010: Earned a redshirt during his true freshman year on campus.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played three years of football at Hubbard High School… earned first-team All-Trumbull County and honorable mention all-conference honors as a senior… received team’s “unsung hero” award.
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 22, 1991… majoring in business and marketing… son of Fonda Sanders and Tommy Jackson... interned in the Lake Erie Athletic Department during the summer of 2013, working on corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
