Notes:  Lake Erie is looking to snap a two-game losing streak when it hosts Notre Dame in a nonconference game between Northeast Ohio's two NCAA Division II programs… the Storm is coming off a loss last week at home to Ashland in which they were held to a season-low 305 total yards and 10 points… despite that loss, the Storm is still averaging over 500 yards and 33 points per game this season… sophomore RB Anthony Bilal (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside) is the nation's eighth-leading rusher with 713 yards and 11 touchdowns through the first five games. He is 367 yards away from becoming Lake Erie's all-time leading rusher and just 287 yards shy of becoming the school's first 1,000-yard rusher in a season… redshirt senior QB Brendan Gallagher (Aurora, Ohio/Aurora) is 12th in DII in completion percentage (66.9%) this season and has thrown for 1,238 yards and six touchdowns (three INT)… redshirt junior LB Marcus Rogers (Kent, Ohio/Roosevelt) made his first start since returning from a preseason injury last week and responded with a game-high 13 tackles (seven solo) against Ashland. He has 20 tackles in 1.5 games this season… Notre Dame won its last game, 59-35, at home over Virginia-Wise.  The Falcons are 3-0 at home but 0-2 on the road this season… this is the second all-time meeting between the two teams. Last year,  Notre Dame's only year as a member of the GLIAC, went down to the wire with the Storm pulling out a late 38-35 win. Bilal ran for 192 yards and two touchdowns in that game while LB Tanner Wells (Carrollton, Texas/Parish Episcopal) made a career-high 14 tackles, intercepted a pass and scored a 48-yard touchdown run on a fake punt to lead LEC.

UP NEXT: The Storm is on the road next week at Malone University. The GLIAC tilt kicks off under the lights at historic Fawcett Stadium at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio at 7 p.m.
