PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College football team will be in action Saturday (Oct. 21) when they host Malone University with the game set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
Storm Report: The Storm is 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The Storm is coming off a bye week, but the last time on the field was a loss to Findlay. Head Coach Gerald Hazzard said "It was great to get healthy during the bye week. It was a great opportunity for our guys to get back to basics and improved. The guys are very excited for a home night game".
Opposition Position: The Pioneers are 0-6 overall and 0-3 in conference play. Malone is coming off a loss to Kentucky Wesleyan. Coach Hazzard added "Malone does a very good job running the football. We have to be very detail oriented to stop their option attack".
Coach Hazzard concluded "To get the win we will have to take care of the football and produce points on the offensive end. If we can cause a few turnovers that will be a huge factor".
Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the gridiron Saturday (Oct. 28) when they travel to take on Kentucky Wesleyan with the game set to kick off at 1 p.m.
