    Jacob Turay has been invited to take part in the 2019 National Scouting Combine which starts today in the Hoosier State. The Twinsburg, Ohio native just completed his senior season and will earn his degree in biology this spring, but is hoping to make it to the next level of play.

    Reilly Murphy has been named the new head coach of Lake Erie football as announced by Director of Athletics Kelley Kish on Friday morning. Murphy comes to Lake Erie after serving as the offensive coordinator for fellow Division II member Fayetteville State University.

    The Lake Erie College Athletic Department has announced that Gerald Hazzard will not return as the head coach of the Storm football team. Hazzard had been with the program since its inception in 2007 and the team’s head coach since late in the 2016 season.

    Lake Erie gave No. 17 Tiffin more than it bargained for in a 40-28 defeat at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium on a damp Saturday afternoon. The Storm (0-8, 0-6) had the unbeaten Dragons (8-0, 5-0) pinned in a corner, but the visitors pulled away late to deny the upset.
