(INDIANAPOLIS) – Jacob Turay has been invited to take part in the 2019 National Scouting Combine which starts today in the Hoosier State. The Twinsburg, Ohio native just completed his senior season and will earn his degree in biology this spring, but is hoping to make it to the next level of play.
The National Scouting Combine in Indianapolis is an exclusive "invite only" event that bridges the gap between athletes and professional teams. Beyond Sports Network provides each participant with the highest level of testing standards that showcases their abilities to pro coaches & scouts. Athletes who are not invited to the NFL Combine have another proven method to showcase themselves at the BSN National Scouting Combine. Players will receive two opportunities to perform in tests through the week.
Turay was a G-MAC All-Conference selection last season after he played in nine games and made 60 tackles. He recorded 10.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 of which came on quarterback sacks.
He'll arrive in Indianapolis today and go through the combine tomorrow with completion of the event by 3 p.m.
