NOTABLES: The Lake Erie College men's basketball team wraps-up the January portion of their schedule and head into the home-stretch as they travel to Saginaw Valley State University Wednesday (Jan. 30) and Ashland University Saturday (Feb. 2) for a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contests. The Storm (6-11, 3-10 GLIAC) are coming off a 69-50 win over Ohio Dominican University on Saturday... The Panthers held a four point lead at the half but the Storm held them scoreless for over an eight-minute stretch in the second-half as they outscored ODU 19-0... Junior Riley Thomas (Cardington, Ohio/Cardington-Lincoln) scored a career high 30 points for LEC... Freshman Andy Bosely (Columbus, Ohio/Orange) hit career highs in points (16) and rebounds (8) in only his third-career start... The duo combined to go 15-of-15 from the free-throw line... Junior Garrick Sims (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton) grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds... Sophomore Trey Howard (Lima, Ohio/Lima Shawnee) continued his impressive play off the bench as of late, scoring 11 points...The second-year guard is averaging 7.6 ppg. in the past five... The win snapped the Storm's four-game losing streak. Saginaw Valley State (7-9, 5-8 GLIAC) is looking to snap a three-game losing streak on Wednesday, coming off losses to Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University last weekend... Chris Webb leads the Cardinals with 16.6 ppg.. Ashland (6-11, 4-10 GLIAC) defeated Tiffin University their last time out, 67-64, on Saturday... Evan Yates leads the Eagles with 15.9 ppg.

UP NEXT FOR LEC: The Storm returns home next weekend for a pair of GLIAC South Division contests, hosting Malone University (Feb. 7) and Walsh University (Feb. 9).
