The Lake Erie College men's basketball team wraps-up a three game homestand against the University of Findlay.
LAST TIME OUT: The Storm staved off a late run by Wayne State University as they defeated the Warriors 72-67. The Storm lived from the three-point line, hitting 15-of-30 attempts. Jamil Dudley led the Storm with 21 points while Michael Morris had 20. The two combined to go 14-of-22 from the field including 10-of-16 from beyond the arc.
SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 0-9 all-time against the University of Findlay. In their most recent matchup in Painesville last season, the Storm fell 79-69. Riley Thomas led the Storm with 17 points. Nate Tait scored 13 while Garrick Sims had 11.
OPPOSITION POSITION: The Oilers enter Painesville with a 7-8 overall record and a 4-7 mark in GLIAC play. In their most recent outing, they fell to Ashland University, 80-47. Since December 19, the Oilers have alternated wins and losses. Jake Heagan leads the Oilers in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game.
FORECAST: The Storm is back on the road Thursday (Jan. 29) at Tiffin University.
