Ashland opened the second half on a 19-0 run to take a 48-43 lead seven minutes in.  The Eagles lead increased to eight before the Storm cut the deficit back down to four with 10 minutes to play.  The teams exchanged baskets before Howard converted a traditional three-point play to cut the lead to one, 64-63.  The Eagles hit a three-pointer to bring the lead up to four but a Bosley dunk cut the lead in half.

With a minute-and-a-half to go, the Eagles increased their lead three, 71-68 but Howard scored a lay-up to cut the lead to one.  After the Eagles missed a pair of shots, Howard scored another lay-up to give the Storm the lead once again, 72-71.

The Eagles provided a quick counter, hitting a lay-up just three seconds later.  After an Eagle timeout, Jamil Dudley (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) hit a three-pointer with 12 seconds left to give the Storm a 75-73 lead.  The Eagles missed a three-pointer as time expired as the Storm held on for the win.
