Storm Returns Home to Face Malone (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team returns home for the start of the final leg of the 2014-15 season when they play host to Malone University Thursday (Feb. 5). 

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm completed a second-half comeback as they defeat Ashland University 75-73.  Jamil Dudley hit a three-pointer with 12 seconds left to give the Storm the lead after they trailed by eight in the second half.  Trey Howard led the Storm with a career-high 22 points while Andy Bosley had 11.  The Storm shot 53.1% (26-of-49) and hit 10-of-19 (52.6%) threes. 

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 5-2 all-time against the Pioneers.  The teams met in Canton earlier this year, with Malone picking up the 77-64 win.  Andy Bosley led the Storm with 17 points while Jamil Dudley had 11.     

OPPOSITION POSITION: Malone is currently 8-13 overall and 6-9 in GLIAC play.  They are coming off an 88-86 double overtime loss against Walsh University on Monday (Feb. 2).  Ben Haraway leads the Pioneers in scoring, averaging 14.3 points per game. 

FORECAST: The Storm is back in action Saturday (Feb. 7) when they travel to face Walsh.
