Storm to Host Ohio Dominican on Senior Day (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team hosts Ohio Dominican University Saturday (Feb. 21) on Senior Day. 

SENIOR SALUTE: Before the game, the Storm will honor senior Jamil Dudley. For his career, Jamil is a .454 shooter and is having his best shooting season to date this year, averaging 13.9 points per game while shooting .471 from the floor. In addition to basketball, Jamil was a four-year member of the Storm track and field team.  He earned eight All-American honors in the high jump, winning the 2012 Outdoor and the 2014 Indoor NCAA Division-II Championships.  

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm came out on top, 58-56, of a back-and-forth affair with Tiffin University that came down to the final possession.  Andy Bosley led the Storm with 13 points while Sean Howard had 12 off the bench.  Roy Alexander and Jamil Dudley scored nine apiece. 

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 8-3 all-time against the Panthers.  Earlier in the season, the Storm fell to the Panthers, 81-76, in Columbus.  Trey Howard led the Storm with 18 points.  Jamil Dudley had 14 while Andy Bosley added 10. 

OPPOSITION POSITION: Ohio Dominican is 8-16 overall and 6-13 in GLIAC play.  In their most recent outing, the Panthers fell to Ashland University, 77-76.  Trent Weaver leads Ohio Dominican in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game.     

FORECAST: The Storm is back at home Thursday (Feb. 26) for their season finale against Ashland University.
