Storm Takes Winning Streak into Finale Against Ashland (PREVIEW)

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team concludes their 2014-15 season at home against Ashland University. 

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm defeated Ohio Dominican University 70-65 on Senior Day last Saturday (Feb. 21).  Senior Jamil Dudley led the Storm with 22 points while Andy Bosley had 12.  Dudley and Bosley had seven rebounds apiece while Dudley also contributed four steals.  The Storm shot 40.4% (23-of-57) from the field and converted 17-of-22 free-throws (77.3%).  They outrebounded the Panthers 39-31.  The Storm bench outscored their counterparts 24-10.  

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 2-7 all-time against Ashland in GLIAC play.  Earlier this season, the Storm defeated the Eagles 75-73.  Trey Howard led the Storm with a career-high 22 points.  Andy Bosley added 11.  The Storm shot 53.1% from the floor (26-of-49) including 10-of-19 on three-pointers (52.6%). 

OPPOSITION POSITION: Ashland currently sits atop the GLIAC South Division standings with a 19-8 overall record and 13-8 GLIAC record.  Similar to the Storm, the Eagles enter the game on a three-game winning streak.  They most recently defeated Tiffin University 73-59.  Wendell Davis leads the Eagles in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game.
