Storm Prepared for Tiffin and Walsh (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will be in action Thursday (Feb. 2) and Saturday (Feb. 4) when they play host to Tiffin and Walsh respectively. 

Storm Report:  The Storm is coming off an 87-76 win over Ohio Dominican on Monday.  Head Coach Kyle Conley said "Sean Howard and Nick Wells are really playing well and our young guys need to continue to improve every day.  Our continued challenge is to keep improving defensively and be an efficient team on offense".     

Opposition Position: The Dragons are 9-12 overall and 5-9 in conference play and were defeated by the Storm earlier this season.  Coach Conley said "Tiffin is very talented and has strong senior play, and Austin Adams might be the best addition to any team in the conference.  If we can slow down their top guys we will give ourselves an opportunity to win".  The Cavaliers are 13-8 overall and 6-8 in the conference and defeated the Storm earlier this season.  Coach Conley said "Walsh has two of the top three scorers in the GLIAC in Carter and Fletcher.  We need to do a much better job in this second game verus these two really talented player, it's a big challenge".

Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the hardwood Thursday (Feb. 9) when they travel to take on Ashland with the game set to tip at 7:30 p.m.
