Storm Ready for Wildcats (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will be in action Saturday (Dec. 2) when they host Daemen College, with the game set to tip at 3 p.m.

Storm Report: The Storm is 3-3 on the season and coming off a loss to Edinboro, 70-66.  Head Coach Kyle Conley said, "We have been working on improving ourselves, after playing seven games in a 14 day span.  We have to play solid transition defense, and keep them out of the lane".

Opposition Position: The Wildcats are 4-2 on the season, and coming off an 82-72 win over Edinboro. Coach Conley added, "This will be our first ever playing against Daemen and I am impressed with what Coach MacDonald has his guys doing on offense.  They are a highly skilled group of players".

Coach Conley concluded, "We need to find the edge we play with that makes us a good team.  We need to be tough on defense and find the right shot on the offensive side of the floor."

Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the hardwood Thursday (Dec. 7) when they travel to take on Ohio Valley, with the game set to tip at 7:30 p.m.
