Storm Set to Battle Trojans (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will be in action Saturday (Dec. 30) when they host Trevecca Nazarene, with the game set to tip at 1 p.m.

Storm Report: The Storm is 8-4 overall and 3-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.  The Storm is coming off a 95-79 loss to Kentucky Wesleyan.  Head Coach Kyle Conley said. "The NCAA mandated break is a positive, as it is good for the guys to go home and see loved ones.  We hope to come out of the break healthy and excited about the opportunity we have in the second half of the season".

Opposition Position: The Trojans are 1-11 overall and 0-4 in conference play, and are coming off a loss to sixth ranked Christian Brothers.  Coach Conley added, "We are focusing on what Trevecca does well, and coming out of the holiday break we need to regain our defense edge."

Coach Conley concluded, "We need to be a team that is hard to score against, and hold teams in the 60 to 70 point range".

Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Thursday (Jan. 4) when they host Hillsdale with the game set to tip at 5:30 p.m.
