Storm Set to Battle Panthers (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will be in action Saturday (Jan. 20) when they host Ohio Dominican, with the game set to tip at 1 p.m.

Storm Report:  The Storm is 11-7 overall and 6-4 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action.  The Storm has won back to back games, most recently defeating Alderson Broaddus, 73-63.  Head Coach Kyle Conley said, "We have played good offense for two consecutive games, we need to continue to score, and play solid defense."

Opposition Position:  The Panthers are 8-9 overall and 3-7 in conference play, and are coming off a loss to Alderson Broaddus.  Coach Conley added, "Ohio Dominican has four very talented guys, they have a balanced offense and a sound defense."

Coach Conley concluded, "Ohio Dominican is talented, we need to be locked in defensively, and make it tough to win in our gym."

Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the hardwood Thursday (Jan. 25) when they host Cedarville, with the game set to tip at 5:30 p.m.
