PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will be in action Thursday (Feb. 8) at 6 p.m. and Saturday (Feb. 10) at 3 p.m. The Storm will play Findlay and Hillsdale respectively.
Storm Report: The Storm is 12-10 overall and 7-7 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. The Storm is coming off a 106-55 win over Ohio Valley. Head Coach Kyle Conley said, "We need to defend all levels, and we need to have good offensive possessions finished off with quality shots."
Opposition Position: The Oilers are 21-3 overall, 15-2 in conference play, and are ranked 11th in the nation. Coach Conley said, "Findlay starts all upperclassmen, and all of them present different challenges." The Chargers are 17-6 overall and 11-5 in Great Midwest action. Coach Conley added, "Hillsdale has an incredibly experienced team, and they are as physical of a team as we play."
Coach Conley concluded, "We need to shoot the ball well, finish in the paint, and limit our turnovers."
Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Thursday (Feb. 15) when they travel to take on Ohio Dominican, with the game set to tip at 5:30 p.m.
