#StormWarning: Lake Erie, Findlay Square Off On Saturday

(FINDLAY, Ohio) – The recent road stretch has been a daunting one for Lake Erie who is playing five away games this month. The final game of those against G-MAC competition comes tomorrow as the Storm (6-5, 3-2) heads west to take on Findlay (8-1, 3-1).

It will be an offense vs. defense showdown as each team ranks highly in one particular category in the conference. For Lake Erie, it's been defense. The Storm enter with the No. 2 G-MAC defense giving up 66.4 points a game. On the opposite end, the Oilers sit in the same spot on scoring offense racking up 82.0 points per game.

Historically the series favors Findlay as Lake Erie has won just twice since the series started back in the 1988-89 campaign. Last season the Oilers took both contests with Lake Erie falling by just a small margin.

Gabe Kynard is tied for fourth in the G-MAC in scoring along with Walsh's JT Shumate with 17.5 points per game. Findlay counters with Alex White who averages 18.1 a contest. Kynard is also one of the top defensive players on the team that specializes in steals as he averages 1.6 a game. Harrison Riggs and Erron James are right behind with 1.5 each.

Tip-off is set for approximately 3 p.m. following the women's game.
