(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Lake Erie will look to bounce back from Thursday's setback in Saturday afternoon's showdown with Walsh in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. The Storm (5-4, 0-1) will look to square up in the league standings and knock of the Cavaliers (6-0,0-0) from the ranks of the unbeatens as they open up G-MAC play.
It won't be an easy task by any means as Walsh was picked by the coaches as the preseason favorite last month. The hosts will feature two of the top scorers in the league in JT Shumate and Darryl Straughter. The Storm will counter with Gabe Kynard who is just a hair behind them at No. 4 in the confernce. Kynard has scored in double-figures in every game this season and is coming off of his third 20-point game of the year at Cedarville.
These two teams are no strangers to each other and have met 27 times since the series started 31 years ago. The Storm have been winners of four of the last five with the two teams splitting the season series a year ago.
