PERRY, N.Y.-- Lake Erie College junior defender Justin Goodwin (New Westminster, B.C./New Westminster) and senior midfielder Reagan Harding (Saskatoon, Sask./Bishop James Mahoney) were announced as the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division-II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively, by the organization Wednesday (March 4).
Goodwin and Harding earned Eastern College Athletic Conference Players of the Week on Monday (March 4) after helping the Storm open the season with two wins, including a 7-6 upset against second-ranked Le Moyne College.
Against Roberts Wesleyan College, Goodwin caused six turnovers and had nine groundballs. At Le Moyne, Goodwin caused two more turnovers and had six groundballs. He also went three-of-five on face offs.
Harding scored five goals against Roberts Wesleyan in the Storm's season opener. At Le Moyne, Harding netted two more. Harding also had five ground balls and went nine-of-16 on face offs.
The fifth-ranked Storm is back in action March 11th on the road against 10th-ranked University of Mount Olive.
