DANBURY, Conn.—Two members of the top-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week honors for their performances in wins against the University of Tampa and Wheeling Jesuit University last week.
Reagan Harding (Saskatoon, Sask./Bishop James Mahoney) was named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week while Nicholas Simonetti (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Jerome/Queens) was named ECAC Defensive Player of the Week.
In two games, Harding tallied seven goals. Against Tampa, Harding netted four. He added three more goals against Wheeling Jesuit. This season, Harding has 24 goals and four assists.
Simonetti made 25 saves while allowing just 13 goals in two games. Against Tampa, Simonetti made a season-high 16 stops while allowing only seven goals. In the game at Wheeling Jesuit, Simonetti allowed six goals while making nine stops.
The Storm is back at home this Saturday (April 6) to play host to eighth-ranked ECAC foe Seton Hill University.
