#8 Storm Hosts Walsh in ECAC Action (PREVIEW)

The eighth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team continues their current five-game homestand against Walsh University in ECAC action.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm toppled 17th-ranked Pfeiffer University 13-4 last Saturday. Lucas Shafer led the Storm offense with one goal and four assists.  Edmond Renaud scored four goals while Courtland Black-Araujo had three.  Brandon Donohue had a goal and two assists while Mitchell Stokes and Mitchell Shafer had two assists.  Jacob Mitchell, Kole Robinson, Connor Ryan and Connor Ward also scored.  Robinson caused three turnovers and collected a team-high eight groundballs.  Tyler Smoot caused four turnovers and had a pair of groundballs.  Tom Lipomi picked up the win in net, making five stops.  Brett Swan won 12-of-18 faceoffs, picking up three groundballs.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm and the Cavaliers have met four times previously with the Storm prevailing in each contest.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Cavaliers enter the game with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-1 mark in ECAC play.  In their last outing, they defeated Alderson-Broaddus University 14-9. Bryan Crim leads the Walsh offense with 26 goals and seven assists.  In net, Dylan Ciolino has started all eight games and has made 73 saves. 

UP NEXT: The Storm wraps up their five game homestand against Alderson-Broaddus Friday (March 25) at noon.
