PAINESVILLE, OHIO –Lake Erie College (4-5-1, 2-2-1 GLIAC) got an early goal from junior Randy Danso (Toronto, Canada/North Count Community College) and it was enough to sustain a 1-1 road tie at Saginaw Valley State University (5-1-2, 2-1-1 GLIAC)
With seven points, Lake Erie and Saginaw Valley are each in a three way tie for third in the conference.
In the seventh minute, Danso scored his second goal of the season with the feed coming from senior defender Kyle Roesch (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon). The Storm carried that 1-0 lead to the half.

The score stayed that way throughout regulation and the two 10 minute overtime periods. Lake Erie's only attempt on goal after the first half came in the final minute of double overtime as junior midfielder Jake Shelton's (Newburg, Md./Webber International University) boot was saved.
In goal, junior Ricky Carreria (Toronto, Ont./Dante Alighieri Academy) made four saves.
Saginaw Valley outshot Lake Erie, 15-8, but both squads put five on goal. Each team attempted six corner kicks.
