PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Erie College men's soccer's most successful season as a member of NCAA Division II has been rewarded with the school's first postseason appearance over that timeframe as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its championship field.
The Storm (8-8-2, 5-5-2 GLIAC) earned the number two seed in the three-team ECAC Division II Men's Soccer Championships.

Lake Erie will play its semifinal matchup against Salem International University (7-5-2) Saturday (November 12) at 5:00 p.m. The match will take place at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio.
The Storm and the Fighting Tigers have already squared off once this season on Oct. 19 in Salem International. Lake Erie took a 4-0 decision in that matchup.
If Lake Erie is victorious in its semifinal matchup it will face host Notre Dame (18-0) in the Championship Match, Sunday (November 13) at 7:00 p.m.
The Storm played in the ECAC Tournament as a Division III team in 2005 and fell to Grove City, 2-1, in the opening round game.
