PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Erie College redshirt junior goalkeeper Ricky Carreira (Toronto, Ont./Dante Alighieri Academy) has been selected to play for the newly formed AFC Cleveland Soccer Club.

"This is a great chance for Ricky to play with and against some outstanding players," said Lake Erie Head Coach Davie Carmichael.  "Getting to see Ricky play twice a year, the coaches within the GLIAC have certainly taken note of his tremendous skill and we hope AFC Cleveland allows him to show off his talents in front of a wider audience."
