PAINESVILLE, Ohio- Lake Erie College men's soccer team fell to Ohio Dominican University, 1-0 toady (September 12th) in Painesville. The storm is now 1-2 on the season and 0-1 in the conference, and Ohio Dominican is 3-0 overall and is 1-0 in conference play.
In the first half, both teams had quality opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net. Each team had three shots, and Lake Erie won the corner kick battle 3-1.
In the second half, Ohio Dominican University scored in the 58th minute when forward Andrew Schwall to give Ohio Dominican the 1-0 win.
In net for the Storm was junior Filip Ljubevski (Ajax, Ont. / Pikering) he faced 11 shots, seven of which were on goal, and made six saves.
Lake Erie College is back in action Friday (September 19th) when they host the University of Findlay.
