Kolke Named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week

BAY CITY, Mich.—Lake Erie College men's soccer player Kenneth Kolke was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week for his performances in a pair of wins to open the season this weekend.

Kolke (Stow, Ohio/Munroe Falls) led a Storm defensive unit that posted a pair of shutouts against Roberts Wesleyan College and Slippery Rock University.  In the win over Roberts Wesleyan College, Kolke scored a goal.

Andrew Bucur (Bedford, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel) was named to the Honorable Mention list.  He assisted on both goals against Roberts Wesleyan and scored the lone goal against Slippery Rock University.
