Last Week: The Storm fell at the hands of the eventual 2019 G-MAC Champions Tiffin Dragons. Lake Erie and Tiffin had the score locked at 1-1 entering double overtime. Leo Hasenstab scored the winning goal in the final minutes of the match, making the final score 2-1. Jonathon Carr scored his 14th goal of the season in the loss.
Lake Erie: The loss in the G-MAC Semifinals was just the first time this season that the Storm conceded more than one goal in a game. The Storm earned an automatic bid and a first-round bye to the NCAA tournament after finishing the regular season 17-1.
UIndy: UIndy is 3-2 through the last five games this season. The Greyhounds defeated Fort Hays St. 3-2 in the First Round. Bryan Moreira, Ben Rohder, and Javier Steinwascher all scored in the match against the Tigers. The last loss for the Greyhounds came in the GLVC tournament when they fell at the hands of Southern Indiana by a score of 3-2.
Next Match: The winner of the second-round match will take on the winner between No. 4 Mckendree and No. 5 Ohio Valley. The Bearcats and the Fighting Scots will kick off on Sunday at 1 p.m. Third and Quarterfinal rounds will be hosted by the remaining highest seed on Dec. 5 or 6th.
