PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Erie College (5-30, 2-16 GLIAC) fell behind early in game one and lost a lead in game two but the end results were the same in a pair of losses at Ohio Dominican University (18-20, 12-6 GLIAC). The Storm dropped game one, 9-1, in six innings and game two, 5-2.
Lake Erie lone run in game two was provided by senior catcher Megan Foley (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) who slugged her fifth home run of the season in the third inning. Foley had two of the Storm's five hits in the game. Sophomore Jeniffer Gratz (Richwood, Ohio/North Union) was also on base twice with a double and a walk.

That lasted until the sixth inning when an untimely dropped foul ball came back to haunt the Storm later in the at bat as the Panthers' Kylee Crislip blasted a two-run homer to left off Ronde to give ODU a 3-2 advantage. The Panthers added an insurance run later in the inning and another off freshman reliever Amanda Anderson (Streetsboro, Ohio/Streetsboro) in the seventh. Freshman Amber Dowen (New Lyne, Ohio/Pymatuning Valley) reaching on error in the seventh was the Storm's only baserunner of the last three innings.
