Storm Set for Home Weekend (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College softball team will be in action Saturday (April 16th) and Sunday (April 17th) as they host Ashland and Clarion University, respectively.  The first game on Saturday will begin at 1 P.M. and the first game on Sunday will start at 12 P.M.

Storm Report: The Storm is 12-18 overall, 4-10 in the conference and coming off of a sweep over Malone University. 

Series History:  Since moving to D-II the Storm has been unsuccessful in defeating the Eagles, and a 1-1 record against Clarion.

Opposition Position: The Eagles are 19-16 overall, 9-5 in the conference and coming off of a win over Walsh.  The Golden Eagles are 3-24 overall, 1-11 in conference play and coming off of a loss Bloomsburg University. 

Forecast: The Storm will be back in action Tuesday (April 19th) as they travel to take on Hillsdale with the first game of the doubleheader beginning at 3:30 P.M.
