Snyder Hits NCAA Provisional Qualifying Time

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Freshman Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) became the first Lake Erie College track and field athlete to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships on Saturday (April 24) at the Ashland University Alumni Open.

Snyder's school-record time of 53.09 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles was well ahead of the provisional mark of 54.00 seconds.  He placed first in the event with what is currently the 14th fastest time in all of NCAA Division II.

The automatic qualifying time is 52.00 seconds.
