PAINESVILLE, OHIO – The Lake Erie College men's 4x400-meter relay team improved its NCAA Outdoor Championships positioning with a season-best performance Sunday (May 15) at the North Carolina A&T Aggie Classic in Greensboro, N.C.

The quartet of sophomores Chris Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood Madison), Quinton Harley (Rochester, N.Y./Edison Tech), Isaac Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) and Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) clocked a time of 3:11.25, an improvement over their previous best time of 3:11.86 set two weeks ago at the GLIAC Championships.

Their time currently is the 14th fastest in the country overall and 12th by school.

In other action, sophomore Andrea Boyd (Bedford, Ohio/Bedford) won the 100-meter hurdles and classmate Colleen Bednar (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) took second in the long jump at the University of Indianapolis Twilight Qualifier.  The women's 4x100-meter relay team also finished second. However, both results were not as good as their season bests on the year.
