Seven Storm Athletes Earn All-Region Honors from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Seven Lake Erie College track and field student-athletes received All-Region Awards for the outdoor season from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Friday (May 17).

Earning All-Region recognition on the men's side were Jamil Dudley (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon), who earned two honors, Joe Postwaite (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili), Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) and Zack Soyring (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon McMillan).  For the women, Destiny Prusky (Newton Falls, Ohio/Newton Falls), Ariana Jorgensen (Kleinburg, Ont./Emily Carr Secondary) and Kady Held (Massillon, Ohio/Tuslaw) received All-Region honors.

The top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region's top three have earned the All-region distinction for this season.

Dudley, Postwaite, Snyder and Prusky will represent Lake Erie at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 23-25 in Pueblo, Colo.
