PUEBLO, COLO. –  Redshirt junior Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) and sophomore Joe Postwaite (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili) added to their trophy cases Saturday (May 25) with top-seven individual finishes for the Lake Erie College track and field team at the 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Snyder ran a school-record 51.44 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, placing fifth in the finals Saturday night.  That time was .23 seconds faster than his previous best set at the 2010 national championships.  For Snyder, it was his second career All-American finish in the 400-hurdles and his third A-A honor overall.

Postwaite jumped 50' 4" (15.34 meters) on his final jump to move up to seventh place and earn his second All-American honor of the year after posting a fourth-place finish during the indoor season.

Sophomore Destiny Pursky (Newton Falls, Ohio/Newton Falls) made the Storm women's debut, competing in the high jump.  She finished in 16th place, clearing the bar at 5' 7" (1.70 meters).

The scoring by Snyder and Postwaite, added with junior Jamil Dudley's (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) second-place finish in the high jump Friday, gave the Storm men 14 total points, tying them for 17th place overall in the team standings with Johnson C. Smith University and Slippery Rock University.  A total of 54 teams scored points in the meet on the men's side.
