HILLSDALE, Mich. – Big performances abounded for Lake Erie Track & Field on Saturday, a day that saw the Storm Men place second at the Hillsdale Invitational.

Jamil Dudley posted an NCAA-II qualifier number in the Men's High Jump, and the Lake Erie men carded 126 team points. Only Hillsdale (Mich.) scored more points (180) in the six-team field on the men's side. The Storm Women placed fourth in a field of five.

Dudley notched a 2.25-meter leap (7-04.5) in the high jump. The 88-plus inches set a new program record and marched LEC's first automatic qualifying mark of the outdoor season. It also earned Dudley first place on Saturday. The leap was one of four first-place finishes for LEC.

Joe Postwaite registered a season-best, 15.10-meter (49-06.5) mark in the triple jump, an event he won by more than four feet.

Shavon Thompson won the 100-meter dash, clocking in at 10.87 seconds. Ethan Snyder took first in the 110-meter hurdles, posting an NCAA provisional time of 14.49 seconds. His time in the 110 set a new LEC record. Snyder would also earn an NCAA-II B-cut in the 400-meter hurdles (52.06 seconds).

The Lake Erie women recorded two victories on Saturday at Hillsdale College's Ken Harrick Track.

Destiny Prusky won the high jump, posting a 1.65-meter (5-05) performance. Kaitlyn Menges heaved a shot 12.48 meters (40-11.5) to claim first in the shot put.

The meet in Hillsdale, Mich., marked the Storm's third of the outdoor season. That season will continue with a meet at Baldwin-Wallace in Berea, Ohio, on April 19.
