2015 NCAA DIVISION-II OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Three members of the Lake Erie College track and field team will represent the Storm at the 2015 NCAA Division-II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University this Friday and Saturday.
DOUGLAS MOORER: Moorer enters his first Outdoor Championships. Competing in the discus, Moorer is the first Storm thrower to qualify for nationals. He threw a season-best 179'11" at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships. Moorer's toss was the fifth-best in the country this season.
JOE POSTWAITE: Postwaite enters the Outdoor Championships for the third straight year, marking his sixth overall Championships appearance between indoor and outdoor seasons. He will be competing in the triple jump and the high jump. He enters the triple jump with the second-best mark in the country this season (50'10.25") and the sixth-best mark in the high jump (7'0.25"). At the Indoor Championships this year, Postwaite won the national title in the triple jump and earned Second-Team All-American honors in the high jump.
DESTINY PRUSKY: Prusky enters her third straight Outdoor Championships and fourth overall Championships between the indoor and outdoor seasons. She will be competing in the high jump. With a season-best height of 5'8", Prusky enters with the sixth-best jump of the qualifiers. At the Indoor Championships this season, Prusky earned Second-Team All-American honors.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: On Friday, Moorer competes in the discus, Postwaite competes in the triple jump and Prusky competes in the high jump. Postwaite competes in the high jump Saturday.
